Don't be so defensive! After all, I'm much the same. I post things I agree with. I also post things I disagree with but find interesting. Sometimes with the latter I insert snide comments (in green), but not always. I figure you guys do (or at least SHOULD) know my positions pretty well by now.
Maybe not always. micro seems baffled by my advocacy of Donald Trump. I suspect it's because he doesn't understand my priorities... and that I'm sincere and serious when I say that it is already TOO LATE to save America. At this point, I'm just hoping that its collapse doesn't drag on for the rest of my life. If it collapses sometime soon, maybe whatever follows will something I can participate in and help to improve.
It could be an improvement. For me, at least, and for some of you, I suspect. (Though a wholesale collapse will kill hopelessly unprepared people like clo and zzfart. OCU might be able to bribe himself back into the good graces of the rural people he knew in upper Michigan. He's got a chance if his diabetes doesn't get him first.)
So my priority isn't to fix our sick country. It's too late for that. My interest is in protecting the better parts of it and getting the b@st@rds that did this to our nation.
We could have used a non-Goldman version of Ted Cruz about 30 years ago. But, today? It's really too late for him... or Rand Paul... or even Rand's wonderful dad. That ship has sailed and pandemonium lies ahead. It's time to batten down the hatches.
