De
reminds me of the times my daughters were in the SHOW CHOIRS at their high schools.
My oldest was like your son, a gifted pianist who actually performed live on the Stage at the Grand old oprey house and had many of the musicians there wanting her to come to Nashville and perform more....
It was a special night on a very difficult piece of music. She played the piano and keyboards for the show choir for four years..... As well as the piano in the Music choir classes during school hours if she wasn;t in class.
The youngest is a highly athletic, very coordinated and talented Operatic Soprano who took professinal voice lessons for six years. She starred at the University choir at Wittenberg University and this choir was asked by Rudolph Giuliani to perform a solemn choral arrangemnent at Ground Zero after 911.
The mayor of the New Jersey city across the tunnel asked them to come over and perform for them as well.
This was an elite traveling/touring choir who won many national awards.
Enjoy every last moment they are performing De! When you are my age you will look back with fond memories and have DVD's and video to watch and listen to!
I do!
Congrats on having a wonderfully talented young man like that as your son!
