The author has it wrong. He says that Oakland has a gun problem, and as evidence he cites information pertaining to guns that worked perfectly.
The truth - and I'm being serious - is that Oakland has a people problem. If liberals can't or won't properly identify the problem, they will never implement a solution.

Add to that illegal gun possession and other related crimes, and Oakland police recorded an average of 11 gun-related crime reports per day for the year, according to a KQED analysis of data from the Oakland Police Department.
