Sorry to hear that. I've been that sick before, but not in a long time. I remember once, long ago, I'd been lying in bed, semi-delusional, with a 105 degree fever for what felt like hours, and I realized that I might actually be dying. And I remember that I didn't care. I also remember taking a bath because I was so cold, and telling my wife to pour boiling water into the tub while I was in it.
Most of the time when you're that sick, the problem is food poisoning. Influenza is an epidemic disease, and you don't usually get it unless others you know have had it too.
Food poisoning and flu can have similar symptoms - at least in the early stages. In my experience the chief difference has been that food poisoning is accompanied by intense stomach pain. It makes your stomach feel like one big knot. In terms of discomfort, I'd probably rather have the flu. In terms of survival, I'd probably rather have food poisoning. The flu can and does kill a lot of people every year.

LOL no chit. Man this one is some weird chit. I thought I was gonna met my maker lastnight. Finally got some sleep. My whole body feels like I walked out in front of a truck. Had to run to the can every 15 minutes till just a little bit ago. Funny part is I haven't had any food since Sunday at noon. Where the hell is all this chit coming from?????? Everything I touch, my nerves let me know they are hurtin......... Hopefully tomorrow this will be gone......arggggggggggggggggg
