micro, I keep thinking I need
a new truck. But it would cost
me $50,000 to get one. My current
truck cost me $23,000.Do I REALLY
need a new truck?

People who actually are working can afford a car.
It may not be a new one, like my wife's 12 year old car was not, or the high school girl I sold my other car to for a little over $3,000, but she got a nice looking, mechanically safe and sound vehicle that will last her another five or more years easily.

The CHEAP sub compacts everyone can afford. $11,000 buys you a new car. Under ten grand buys you a couple year old car.

WHO can't afford that? Those who want to live off everyone else and NOT go to work.......

That is how I see it....
