It seems to me that the Republican establishment would like nothing better than a Rubio nomination. It doesn't look to me like that will happen. I'm over here wondering if Rubio can even take Florida. I think this a decent chance of Trump winning every state from here on out. If that happens - or even if he "only "has lopsided victories in most of the remaining states - then I don't see by what trickery or tomfoolery the GOP can wrangle for a brokered convention. Trump could spell the end for the GOP as we know it, and that's a good thing. I've hoped that would happen for many years.
Not that it really matters. As I said in 2008 and 2012, nobody can save the United States. It's too far gone. Folks need to hunker down for the ugliness that lies ahead.
