De,

I just like having the shorter
lengths of words. I do not know
how snapits did it. I use the
return and then arrow back and
down. I do it after I finish
writing so the lines are close
to the same length. BTW, I once
noted that if I posted a link
before anything else, it would
often widen the page so I started
to post a line before adding a
link. For whatever reason that
made the link more than one line
but did not widen the screen.
BTW, I updated my computer right
after Windows 10 came out and it
has been screwed up ever since.
Now I can not copy links with my
computer unless somebody has it
posted. Computers! Aren't they
GREAT?!!

DG,

re:"Too many of your posts are too
wide. For me to see them I have
to keep moving my screen back
and forth."

Sorry about that.

I sometimes post images directly from other sites on the Internet. If they are large images, they'll cause my entire post to be wide.

Normally, if I can see that an image is causing that problem, I compress the picture and loaded onto the Internet myself. That's a bit of work so I don't like to do it.

In the case of that Mary Poppins image, it fit just fine on my screen so didn't perceive it as a problem. My screen is obviously set differently from yours. That could be a hardware issue, or could be that my eyes are little bit better than yours so I don't have the screen resolution set the same way you do.

I'll try to be conscious of the problem in the future and compress more of the images that I post.

By the way, did you write that or did Snapits? If it was you, what's up with the 40 character line lengths? I used to ask Snapits if he was using Commodore 64 and a TV set for his connections to the Internet. Now I'm wondering if you are!
