Schumer had joined (NY) city officials in blasting a cut in homeland security funding for New York in Obama’s budget.

In response, White House press secretary Josh Earnest went ballistic against the next Senate Democratic leader.

Not only is Schumer “wrong,” said Earnest, but his “credibility in talking about national security” is dubious — because he opposed the Iran nuclear deal and “he was wrong about that position.”
