This was precisely what I was thinking when I heard the news about Scalias death. No way do we want that outgoing nightmare of a potus to appoint yet another unqualified, but left of the far left nitwits for justices where the qualificaton standard is that they be only a in their mind "a wise latina woman".

My how high the bar has been raised! As long as they vote what HE wanted them to all is well.

This is precisely why Justices should be able to be recalled. Totally inept.....

Anywya, I am very lad to hear McConnell finally did at least one thing right......

I have to hand it to Mitch McConnell. By promptly stating that a replacement to Justice Scalia will be delayed until after November, he beat the White House to the punch and scored a political victory. Here's how:

Had McConnell NOT acted so quickly, Obama would have announced today his intention to appoint (for instance) a black female justice. If McConnell THEN stated that it would be appropriate to delay the appointment hearings, they'd brand him as sexist and racist, thus pushing more women and blacks to vote for Clinton or Sanders.

But that won't happen. This time, McConnell did it right... undoubtedly infuriating Obama. You snooze, you lose, liberals.
