Its always a possibility but I think mine is simply a once a year , winter time usually, respiratory,sinus related type of stuff I would just one love to go through one single winter without getting.
Over all I am better than I was earlier in the week.
My 500 MG cephalexin (Keflex) seems to be working, combined with Mucinex twice daily, and heavy doses of vitamins and tylenol plus advil to kill the sore throat.
The congestion in the lungs is breaking up and I am spitting out less daily, which means I have less coughing fits caused by ticklish vibrating of phlegm in the bronchial tubes.
My main concern today is the five alarm fire in my throat. I called the fire department and they told me to see the doctor they weren't going to send a pumper unit out...
I took two tylenol and two advil. That is helping until its effectiveness wears out and then in six hours I will do it again.
I think if I get the throat issue resolved I will be fairly much back to battling my sinuses.
Remember last year I had that sinus surgery because I was a real mess in December and the months prior?
Well, now that those sinus cavities are opened, all they do is drain continuously. I have actually become just like my mrs. Hack, cough, spit every morning. We could start a band.... Call it "The Spitters"..
If you are still having no relief after a week of taking your antibiotic you got, may be time to see a doc and get something stronger like a Z-Pack or something for whatever is going on inside of your body.
I take Mucinex to help dry up the chest congestion and the sinuses from running, feeding the chest....
Got to dry that up to shut the faucet off.
