Since Harpole claims the story is all wrong and he has no problem with the MOOSLIMS taking over Amarillo, then we should send ALL the MOOSLIM refugees to their and spare the rest of the nation and cities....

He said it, now he owns it.... Wink

Zim: Left wing lying fruitloops are every bit as bad as left wing
lying fruitloops.

The country needs to return to the Constitution.

A popular conservative blog reporting Amarillo is drowning in Muslim refugees and that city leaders are demanding a halt to more coming has it all wrong, Mayor Paul Harpole said.

The headline on a Jan. 15 post on Breitbart.com reads, “A city in the Texas Panhandle says ‘enough already’ when it comes to resettling refugees from the Middle East.”

Harpole said Amarillo’s issue is the high amount of refugees of any kind, not just Muslims, which is making it hard for schools and government to properly deliver services while coping with language and cultural barriers. He also said the story misquoted him several times.

The story about Amarillo is topped by a photograph of lines of school children in uniforms outside what appears to be a portable classroom.

However, an online search shows the Getty Images shot is of Syrian children at a refugee camp in Turkey that has an open-door policy for Syrians fleeing the violence in that country.

Recent posts on the Refugeeresettlementwatch blog, the Breitbart story and a Watchdog.com blog post all use the same quotes and descriptions of Amarillo’s refugee situation.

They are echoed in dozens of others. One of the headlines at liberty
unyielding.com is “Texas city overrun with warring tribes (and we’re not just talking Crips and Bloods).”

Multiple Amarillo residents are among those sharing the posts and stories on social media.

A post on the refugee
resettlementwatch blog quoted Harpole as saying, “A group of Somalis came in to say they had elected a mayor of their community. Then another faction claimed they had their own leader.”

Harpole said he remembers the situation differently.

In 2012, when a bus carrying Somalis from Amarillo to work at the Cargill Fresh Meats plant in Plainview crashed on Interstate 27, the families didn’t understand how hospitals and health care work in America. They wanted to appoint a leader to move things along past the cultural and language roadblock.

“They wanted to know how to get legal authority for somebody to operate (on the patients),” Harpole said.

Article does continue, Zim.)
