I think Linux Mint is one I have a copy of.
I did a quick test on a computer at work, and it
had most everything I would have needed.
(I did not have internet access for it though . . . )

unreal. About an hour after I posted this my new computer with windows 8.1 started updating. I SHUT OFF updates as soon as I bought the damn thing. F**K MSFT . I will be throwing that POS in the garbage..........
