my bank account and live off my
retirement and dividends. I think
there is a good chance that SS
will one day disappear. At that
point, inflation will probably
make living off my retirement

I'm sorry to hear that. My sister didn't live to collect social security or receive Medicare benefits either. It happens. But nowhere near as often as the programs require in order to break even.
What my two charts don't make clear is the staggering size of the financial obligations these two programs put on us. Instead of having a $19 trillion National debt, figure on it being $225 trillion - unless you believe as the liberals do that the Social Security Administration is actually sitting on 150+ trillion dollars it has collected over the years. LOL. If you believe that, I've got a bridge in New York that's for sale CHEAP. Call me!
