Man, 36, beaten to death on IIT campus in Bronzeville
36-year-old man was beaten to death early Thursday near a recreational hall on the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology in Bronzeville on the South Side, authorities said.
Police said the man and the attacker, a 43-year-old acquaintance, may have been together earlier in the evening. The attack happened during an argument in a parking lot, and the victim appeared to have been beaten with a tree branch, police said.
