re: " They work. Whenever they get a sinus infection, or upper respiratory infection, or strept throat, they start taking the antibiotics.
And you can get your own strept throat swabs to check yourself.......

Anyway, 100 pills of cephalexin 500 MG strength is about $35.00 roughly. Free shipping...."

That's a pretty good deal. I'm tempted. If things fall apart, it would be really nice to have some antibiotics stored away.

But the abuse of antibiotics - which is what it is when people take antibiotics for every little thing including common colds that don't even respond to antibiotics - is what's breeding antibiotic-resistant bacteria. And that's killing people... by the hundreds of thousands today and by the tens of millions in the future. There's a pretty good chance it will kill some of US... the folks on this board... one day.

Antibiotics are credited with increasing human lifespans to 75 from about 50. That's not to be taken lightly.

If I had a way to store antibiotics, I could tuck them away as a last-ditch emergency item and NOT be guilty of harming other people. But is there a way to do that? I'm under the impression that antibiotics have a pretty limited shelf life.
