That's a pretty good deal. I'm tempted. If things fall apart, it would be really nice to have some antibiotics stored away.

But the abuse of antibiotics - which is what it is when people take antibiotics for every little thing including common colds that don't even respond to antibiotics - is what's breeding antibiotic-resistant bacteria. And that's killing people... by the hundreds of thousands today and by the tens of millions in the future. There's a pretty good chance it will kill some of US... the folks on this board... one day.

Antibiotics are credited with increasing human lifespans to 75 from about 50. That's not to be taken lightly.

If I had a way to store antibiotics, I could tuck them away as a last-ditch emergency item and NOT be guilty of harming other people. But is there a way to do that? I'm under the impression that antibiotics have a pretty limited shelf life.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I learned earlier today that you can get some antibiotics online at ebay that work well in humans, like cephalexin in either 250 mg or 500 mg, and at various standard quantities, as well as Amoxicillin, same way.

Fairly inexpensive. Saves you a doctor appointment.

How? It is labeled as for fish antibiotics and "not for human consumption." Yet, when you read the capsules identifying marks it is identically the same stuff that rolls off the line for what the pharmacies sell to us.

You can look into it or you could go to EBAY and look some up yourself. My daughter, who is a just a few hours short of a PHD in Micro Biology told us about it this morning and she and her family have been storing up antibiotics like this, as well as food and water, for prepping for disaster, for a long time.

They work. Whenever they get a sinus infection, or upper respiratory infection, or strept throat, they start taking the antibiotics.
And you can get your own strept throat swabs to check yourself.......

Anyway, 100 pills of cephalexin 500 MG strength is about $35.00 roughly. Free shipping....

You can also get 250 mg dosage and it is about 33 percent less. If you only want 60 instead of 100, it is less.

Anyway, just passing this on to help you save some on doctor visits for common things you know you have, but only in America are you forced to go to Doc in order to get a common antibiotic to get well.

Most other countries you can get it without a prescription. Don't ya love it?
