I have heard that it was a mechanical problem and that it was a navigational problem. Neither one explains why Iran was able to capture two US Navy boats.
Under different Presidents and different times we sent the navy when pirates boarded civilian vessels. Under the current administration we have Pirates boarding navy vessels. Ain't change wonderful!!!
