I didn't see the Bernard helmet-to-helmet hit. I must have switched to the golf channel. Sure looked obvious on replay since he had not become a runner as some suggest. Game changer!

Don't understand why Porter was not penalized for being on the field:

What rule did Porter violate?

Article I, section 8: Non-player personnel of a club (e.g., management personnel, coaches, trainers, equipment men) are prohibited from making unnecessary physical contact with or directing abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures at opponents, game officials, or representatives of the League. The penalty: 15 yards.

The rule is there precisely to prevent what Porter did–get all in the face of the opposition during an emotional, nasty game. Imagine what football would be like if after play stoppage coaches got into every skirmish?

In addition to not moving the Steelers 15 yards further back, the wrong decision by the officials resulted in Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones losing his cool and Cincinnati being penalized a second 15 yards.

Did you see the call at the end against Jones?

What was he guilty of? Just yelling at a Steeler's coach who should not have been on the field with three umps and reef in between?

Give those Steelers another 15 yards so they have only a 36 yard field goal instead of a 51 yarder. Hope they all got some extra in their paycheck after last night.

The Bengals won that game. The refs took it away at the end.

How about the no call on Jeremy Hill? He gets smashed in the helmet by a Steeler, fumbles, and they run into the end zone.

I thought going after the head was a penalty and 15 yards? It was against the Bengals when they did it.

THAT was a travesty of officiating. I wonder how many of those guys are from Pittsburgh???

Anyway, JONES at the very least should NOT have been flagged and the Steeler's coach SHOULD have for being on the field stirring up chit!!

The medical team was already tending to the player.

Steelers are just DIRTY THUG PLAYERS AND Coaches. It's a cultural thing there with Head Thug Tomlin.

HArd to beat 14 when all you have is 11 and they have all those flags....
