Well, Micro,
The Hornets are pretty noisy . . . sometimes it's too
loud to have a conversation in my back yard because
of them. I remember once, many years back, when I
traveled just North of Oceana to see the contractor
about a new roof on my house. I stopped and watched
F-14's taking off on the way there. Then I stopped
and watched the F-18's on the way back.

Believe it or not, we have had snow here in Virginia
Beach. This morning the temperature was in the mid
40's. And I believe I scraped frost twice in early
December.

Hey,
Just got back home yesterday. Sure did see an awful lot of fighter jets doing touch and go's down there this past week.

Is it like that often?? Seemed like every couple minutes there were either one or sometimes a pair in formation coming back in from the ocean with landing gear down very low over the boardwalk toward the airstrip and more taking off heading out...

Sure are noisy though.... You had really warm temps this past week too! Do y'all ever get any "cold" temps during the winter time?
