On Christmas day, Obama banned 5.56 ammo, redefining it as armor piercing since he wasn't able to ban it directly. (His previous efforts to have it outlawed failed, and it's a real stretch to call it armor piercing. Nevertheless, he's done it.)
I'm sure this will be appealed, but I bet there's nothing that can be done until the asshole is out of office.
As a result of Obama's action, the price of .223 ammo will now rocket upward. I placed an order for .223 last night, but it was back ordered. My bet is that the order will never fill.
