That's possible, except that his show is about his life as a homesteader in Alaska. (He lives in a rural area and lives off the land.)
The article below discusses his relationship with Jewel as well as the trouble he got in last August when a helicopter was used to transport Atz Lee, his wife and a bunch of the show's cameras and crew to the start of a hunt. He didn't hunt from the copter, but using a helicopter in a hunt even for transportation purposes is a misdemeanor in Alaska.
