micro, many years ago I spent a
day raking up leaves and bagging
them. Then I had a problem getting
rid of the bags. That was when I
heard about mowing them. I have
never raked leaves since.

That's what I do to mine every year. My two self propelled mulching mowers (Toro Super Recycler and Honda)do a good job of shredding, mulching and making them disappear.
All the leaves from the tress around my house are totally off the tress except for the Oak.. and it is in the front corner of the yard so I am not too worried about it.

Great job there DG!! Mow, don't rake....
