IMO, ownership of POPE IV should tempt him, but ownership of ribit might actually be a negative. I mean, what exactly does he do??

I agree with your assessments of AB and Icyboards. I don't know why there aren't more simple forums out there. Newer and different isn't necessarily better! While I wish Bob's had some of the neat things I found on Icyboards, Bob's is the better forum. We should just keep Icyboards on a back burner... a place to go in the event that Bob ever takes his site down. Icyboards is far better than nothing, after all - despite what DG says.

It's a shame we'll be losing snapits. But if he gets lonely enough, he knows where to find us.

just what I think, and nobody else.

I prefer the ease of this forum and venue.
I like icyboards better than any other alternate site which has been looked at.
Kudos to De ofr looking it over, anayzing its abilities, and setting up a test site.

I am not likely going to spend much time there.
Too difficult to see the posts and who said WHAT and WHEN.

I also am opposed to Clo being there. I am not wanted on her board as she stated very publicly so she is not wanted where I am. She really hasn't anything to say that is beyond third grade mentality anyway.

Just wanted you all to know in advance that after trying it and playing around, I am not fond of that forum venue over this one.

Our pope does not possess the ability to move on past being banned by Bob, even though Bob has accorded the ability to return with only one single solitary rule, which is reasonable in my view.

I am not commenting on the right or wrong of events that took place when I was out of town and discovered next day.

Nonetheless, Bob's forum is still the best laid out and easiest to use and I do not mind at all helping him with expenses whenever he tells us he needs to take an offering!

So, this is where my home is going to be.

I have offered Snapits the ownership of HIS BOARD as well as ribit. I was content to be simply a poster or moderator to help.

You all will need to make up your own minds.

THIS COULD BE SETTLED if Snapits would simple return here and swallow a little pride and anger.

I was banned by Bob in a general sweep one time too.
I found that if one humbles themself and asks nicely Bob is willing to give another chance.

Snapits, please return back here and stop causing us all to have to learn new formatting and things that YOU don't like either.

Let IT GO! Life is too short. Come back and enjoy the camaraderie of those who come here.

Anyway, this is where I will call home. Anyone who want to be board owner just let me know...

I do not like the formatting at icyboards and messages are too difficult to follow.

Sorry if this troubles some folks. Not trying to be difficult but I suspect if a VOTE were taken, this remains home...
