You say that like it's a bad thing. I'm looking forward to it. Buy nice, farmable land in a place you love and you can't lose. You'll enjoy living there, the investment won't lose (and will probably gain) value. And it will protect you in the event of a socio-economic collapse.

In case you missed it . . .
I recently read a book titled 'The Great Debasement'.
Written by Craig R. Smith and Lowell Ponte.

I describes in gruesome detail how the federal government
has robbed 'We The People' blind for about a hundred
years.

And, other than doing as Decomposed and buying property
to 'go off the grid' I just don't see any real solution.

Save for retirement, and watch your assets debase unto
worthlessness.

It's depressing.
