The problem with Socrates.

Here again is an agnostic with little knowledge of scriptures, although JOB was around long before he was.

The Bible teaches and COMMANDS the HUSBANDS should LOVE THEIR WIVES. It does not say that to the wives....

A man is capable of loving in spite of circumstances.

IF YOU treat your wife like she is a precious jewel and queen of your life and heart, she in turn will incline her heart toward their spouse.

But it STARTS with the Husband....

Many a marriage can be easily repaired and restored with the teaching of the scriptures regarding the estate of matrimony and the responsibilities thereof.

I understand Zim likely wrote the post as humorous, and I am not condemning either he nor the post.

I just see the side of it from being close to a situation like this in a relative's life, where because of lack of effort on behalf of the man, he wonders why his wife isn't what it should be or could be.....

micro..

By all means marry: if you get a good wife, you’ll become happy; if you get a bad one, you’ll become a philosopher.

Socrates.
