I think that's what happens when you aren't logged on. The site allows for "Anonymous" posts. If you're logged on, it posts as you and doesn't ask you to prove anything.
When you log on, I suggest you also check the box to have it remember you. Then you don't even need a password. (I hope you've got it written down, though.)
