With ya Zim!

I would just go farther. Something many do not know is that Congress only met PART TIME during the year....

It was not intended to be full time and consequently, we did not have millions of dollars of lifetime pensions to finance and exorbitant salaries and staffs.

Yes, let's get back to providing for the common defense and shed a ton of bureaucratic waste and drain the swamp!

Here, here!!!

We need to go back to the Constitution.

Anything not specifically listed as a responsibility
of the federal, is the responsibility of the States.

As in, welfare, medicaire, Medicaid, disability,
unemployment . . . etc. etc. etc. are ALL States
responsibilities. As are housing, education, etc. etc.

Severely scale back the business of the federal to
what the Constitution says.

I'm not so sure about term limits . . . but, with the
current crop of halfwitted fossils in the Senate
I think we should start by executing the lot and have
the State's elect new ones.

Earmarks are Un-Constitutional. Any congress critter
caught trying to slide in the equivalent of an earmark
needs to be removed from office.

Any congress critter who violates an existing law
needs to be removed from office.

I could go on . . .

Zim.
