I have never seen you post a racist comment and I do not think you are racist by association, either. Truth be told, I do not believe Rush even remotely thinks you are racist, by association or otherwise. Therefore, if I may be so bold to presume, I believe that particular "issue" is off the table. Now, while I'm sticking my neck out, I might as well stick it out a little further and say that I believe Rush's bone of contention is one of convenient selectivity.
Being crude, rude, and socially unacceptable ... something I can excel at, when I am of a mind to be so ... can become tiresome to others, even in moderation. Because of this, such behavior should be used sparingly. However, on occasion, it does have its appropriate uses ... especially, I must admit, where the cloyingly insincere ignoramus, clo, is involved. Course language is easy to spot and quite convenient to pounce upon. However, the other, equally (if not more so) offensive vulgarities of which I posted, earlier, do not seem to be pounced upon with nearly the same amount of fervor.
Oh well ... we all develop our own way of communicating ... or not.

I agree with you.
IN an imperfect world which we all live in, it is impossible to, on a chat board, limit or constrain
speech which is commonly found in gutters, bars, on decks of warships and barracks.
I am well aware of it and my intent is NOT to be the word police. SOME words do not need to be used and are in my estimation over the top.
I certainly do not mean to inflict my set of standards upon anyone else, but would rather just meet them halfway.
The illogic that A + B have used some derogatory word that has racist connotations and therefore the entire rest of the alphabet is guilty either by posting on that board, or not being the band leader and condemning all such stuff whenever it is actually read and therefore that person also is a racist, is utterly scattered and make no sense at all.
This is like saying "well, you're apathy or non-retort makes you just as guilty".
Really?
This is the argument.
Micro is a racist because he posts on POPE 2 and did not openly condemn Snapits or ribit for use of the N word whenever they used it.
Does that make any sense to you? Not me.
That is why I have taken my time to talk with Rush, not pick a fight. Not my intention.
