Are all journalists total idiots or just those at CNN? According to them, "AR-15" is apparently a synonym for "mass murder weapon" in their lexicon. See the caption, below.
In case someone here doesn't get it, the gunman had a shotgun and a 9mm. That's it. But telling the truth about the weapons he used doesn't further the cause of getting evil, black assault rifles banned the way a little lie will. In this case, he didn't use an ordinary shotgun, but an "AR-15 shotgun" whatever that is. Ooooh! That's a whole lot meaner sounding than just "ordinary shotgun".
I bet they're blaming the NRA, too.
