Recalled Colo. state senator learns nothing, blames voter suppression

Colorado State Sen. Angela Giron, D, clearly learned nothing from this week’s successful recall election against her. Yesterday afternoon she launched into a diatribe blaming voter suppression and confusion over the recall ballot. And amusingly, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin was hearing none of it.

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz offered the same dubious explanation two days ago. As Jim Geraghty notes over at NRO, turnout was actually pretty strong for a special election, and “Democrats have yet to spotlight a Coloradan who wanted to cast a ballot but could not.”

My congratulations to the Colorado patriots who recently ousted the anti-American assholes John Morse and Angela Giron from the state senate. Not only did the Basic Freedom Defense Fund and the Pueblo Freedoms and Rights organization give everyone in America some grounds for hope that the U.S. Constitution does, in fact, still have a pulse, they're now capitalizing on their success by sending letters to EVERY Colorado legislator to get their positions on record regarding repealing the gun laws at the heart of the recalls.

Not stated but obviously present between the polite-but-insistent lines of the letters is the veiled threat: Respond in the negative... Respond unclearly... or Fail to respond at all... and YOU are next.

Warms my heart. Government bastards need to be put back into the pig sties they got out of.
