Hi Linda!

I hear ya and agree.

A Macbook is a good computer. You could try one out at an Apple store at some mall near you I am sure.

Beware though. Once you see how smooth it is you will not want to walk away.

I prefer Logitech mice and keyboards over anyone else.

But, the smoothness of the OS of a Mac is why most professionals prefer them over a windows pc by a wide margin.

Hope you get a chance to test drive one. You will not be disappointed.

the best,

micro...

Hi Micro,

This system came with Win 7. I pretty much like it, but it does have its quirks.

What I found out the hard way is Windows Live Mail doesn't like a low disk space situation. One day in front of my eyes, it blew up and deleted ALL of my email, including extensive folders (I'm a pack rat). I didn't know what caused it at that time, but I recreated most of my files and it blew up a second time. At that time I saw the low disk space. Turns out Dell either segmented my drive into C & D or put the system on a separate drive, which is much smaller. It's just never ends with these people.

And Microsoft? I had to chuck their laser mouse, as it doesn't work well at all on the couch. Everyone else's does. They're pathetic; I can't imagine what has happened to them.

Its no wonder Apple's becoming the place to be. I have too much software to switch. But I'm spending half my time in churn, so maybe I shouldn't prefer fighting to switching! If I had more time, I'd write Gates a letter. He needs a new CEO, as this one doesn't seem to be producing.
