That's where mrs. micro's and my donations are going. Always have with one exception, The Samaritan's Purse, an outreach of Billy Graham Ministries which provide both PHYSICAL assistance and aid to people as well as comfort and caring.

Even back in the early 60's - Hurricane relief to Corpus Christi - the Salvation Army provided a LOT of help to those people - while the Red Cross had their 'coffee and donuts'.

Long history of corruption and sanctimony in the Red Cross - pretty worthless organization, imo.
