Nothing inherently wrong with not being Christian from my perspective. :-)) The list of Mormon atrocities is very short compared to the history of Christianity. Consider the damage to the indigenous population of the 'new world' by the warriors and priests of the Iberian peninsula in the name of their religion, or the slaughter of (ahem) infidels on the way to rescue Jerusalem from the Moors so many centuries ago. (Moors! LOL! We might want to bring that word back into use as it has a wonderfully appropriate disparaging history and tone.)

Mormons have always been feared and loathed because of their secretive rituals and proselytizing ferver. Anything secret and mysterious is reviled and they're seen as competitors by proselytizing Christians. Based upon experience, Jews fear (and sadly often loathe) the evangelical Christian more than the mysterious Mormon.

But you're right about morality as the important factor, which Mormons in general and Mitt in particular practice according to the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Oh my - the dude really DOES need to read his Bible - both New and Old Testament a little bit.

There've been more than one time when G_d put a 'non-believer' of HIS choosing in place - to accomplish HIS purposes.

Not going to waste my vote - even though this IS the first time (i believe) in History where a Christian was not on the 'main' ballot - because neither Romney nor Obama are Christians.

EVIL MUST BE REMOVED - and Romney, although NOT a Christian - IS a moral man, and has not embraced evil - he STILL has a conscience, which he heeds, and that G_d gave him. As long as he has that - there is hope for him.

I understand where lamecherry is coming from - but he really needs to step back a bit and strongly reconsider.

I did.
