Neat - I have wondered just how under-rated 'anti-oxydant' capability really is. Trying to PROVE it, scientifically is a daunting task.

The 'leader' of the one NSF seminar that I got into, Dr. William Fife - TAMU, was part of some of the base level research that established the free radical H+ as being at the core of many/most cancers. Free radicals, when I was in school, were NOT supposed to exist in Nature. They do. Dr. Fife also held the record, way back then, for most dive time in the SeaLabs - those labs that were at 1,000+. The Seminar ? "Hyperbaric and Underwater Physiology" - it was pretty neat - and the winner of the 'Westinghouse Award' for that year was among the 20 or so of us that had the honor of being there. How in the hell I made it in there - never did figure that part out. LOL *I was 17 at the time - between my junior and senior years of high school*

Kinda gone downhill ever since !
