Hyup - agreed. If I attempt to simply listen to a book, I promptly fall asleep. I guess this is why 'bedtime stories' knock kids right out. LOL!

Have tried a couple of times to use 'audio books' while driving. Not a good idea for me. *w*

Reading a book and listening to one are distinctly different experiences. Of course, an author intends that a book will be read, so this is the preferred mode. Audio books are really useful only for multitasking. If I attempt to simply listen to a book, I promptly fall asleep. I guess this is why 'bedtime stories' knock kids right out. LOL!
