I watched the debate earlier, and had a dozen or so twitter feeds scrolling by on the other monitors to view commentary in real time. My wife watched for her usual self-limited dose of politix--about 15 seconds--and noticed that Obama looked and sounded nervous or uncomfortable while Romney looked relaxed. In our short attention span culture, a quick impression is all that is necessary.

I DO NOT CARE WHAT MITT ROMNEY HAS TO SAY, WHAT HE DOES, WHAT HE PLANS, MISTAKES HE MAY MAKE OR HAS MADE ...

All of that is totally irrelevant.

There is only ONE thing I care about in this election.

The removal of the islamist jihadii usurper from the White House of the United States of America.

That said - It appears that folk think Mitt did a superb job during the debates tonight.

From Redstate - WOWZERS on these quotes - a-freaking amazing.

Mitt Romney’s operating system has clearly been updated to ass kicker mode. He drew out Barack Obama’s thin skin and petulant side. He wouldn’t look at Romney. He stumbled. He took more time than Romney because he stumbled over his uh’s and um’s.

The professor got beat by the Governor. Where the heck did that come from?! James Carville says Romney looked like he wanted to be there and Obama did not want to be there. Yep.

Discuss.

The discussion is VERY upbeat. Great to see that - that is the MOST important thing that Mitt could have accomplished tonight - encouraging the American Voters that there really is HOPE FOR CHANGE.

Still wouldn't (and won't) listen to the debate. It would take at least a hundred dollars to make me even consider it - and my ultimate price would probably be closer to at least a thousand. Yeah - I know what I am - just a matter of price. *w*
