I hadn't been to 'drudgereport' in a very long time. Have only been going there the last few days. His constant and frequent 'page refresh' is extremely irritating - plus, most of the so-called 'news' he links to isn't worth reading. Sometimes he's on top of things - not too bad during the libyan al-queda attack - but not as good as what you were coming up with during that time - not nearly as good.
I just found it interesting that matt has definitely changed his 'tone' during this election cycle - albeit, the 'tsa' article isn't the best example of that change in attitude.
Today - on a 'bait and switch' motley fool link - they were touting 3-D printing as the next upset technology - with 20 minutes or so of nonsense, and mention of only 1 pink slip stock involved in it (wanted payment to get their other 'two excellent picks' - no thank you).
The pink slip stock is Dassault Systems - 3D Cad design. The other two stocks are SSYS and DDD - and again, no thanks on either one.
Had looked at 3-D printing about 4-5 years ago - was quite expensive (especially the consumables) - and the price of those printers has come down dramatically since then. $1299 gets a decent home unit today (5.5" cube printing capable ~50 bucks per color consumable cartridge) - and it looks like there are even cheaper units available.
It is a technology that is going to be solid (pardon the pun) going into the future - and your recent posts about the large scale concept 3-D printers for construction were on target, imo.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ...
