Yeah, I'm afraid UT didn't have any choice at all but to capitulate and cancel classes. If they didn't and a bomb actually did go off ... well ... there would have been unmitigated hell to pay, don'tcha know! My older son graduated in May, so he's not down there, now, but he was there when that idiot starting shooting a gun inside the library. Good thing that they now allow CHL holders to carry on campus ... now, a student, like my son, could put a sum-bitch like that in the ground before they cause too much damage.

If they ever find this bomb-threat moron, they should just turn him over to my son's fraternity ... they're all ultra-Conservative, multiple gun-owning hunters ... that poor dumb bastard would be instant fertilizer for the lawn in front of their fraternity house.

B' - I am NOT going to do the tongue-in-cheek route of calling the UT folk a bunch of sissies to shut it down like this.

After what has happened world wide in the past two days, and what happened years ago at UT - these threats have to be taken very seriously.
