I've never been in their Temple, of course, but it is a magnificent ediface. I have been in the Tabernacle, which is amazing--trusses assembled with wood pegs and curved laminated beams bound with rawhide!

You can tell a lot about people by the buildings they construct.

A new frontier in civil unions ?

Well, shoot - that's not much of a flashback ....

Let's try a little further back .... like 1830

... or the ongoing polyglut in islam ... that's a tad further back ....

Or we could go to the book of Kings - Who were those two fine examples of monogamy back then .... Saul and David come to mind ....

LOL - just playin' with ya, Due - Don't have any flashback music to accompany that history, howsomever - I kinda pass on the mtc (mormontabernaclechoir) stuff and not too many hymns address the issue (surprise, surprise).

Oh well ... nothing new under the sun after all, eh ?

PS: Why any man in his right mind would have more than one wife at a time, or civil union, is way beyond this aggie's understanding. Hell - one of 'em is enuf ta drive a sane man nuts.
