I can find no credible sources of information about this arrest yet. No, I do NOT consider any Ron Paul forums to be credible sources of information. Have listened to too many conservative talk shows where RP supporters get on the show by lying through their teeth about what they really wanted to talk about. These are tactics ENCOURAGED by the RP campaign itself - which says a lot, to me, about their base level ethics.
Unlike Due, I do NOT hold Ron Paul in high esteem. Some of his stuff is in line with the Constitution - but I have serious problems with MANY of the things that I have heard him say - from the floor of Congress - and have serious problems with his past history on his newsletter. I absolutely do hold him totally accountable for that horrible crap that was being distributed UNDER HIS NAME. Passing it off as 'not being involved' with it - says a whole lot about his 'managerial' accountability - if nothing else.
We have had enough of 'not my fault, not my responsibility' from those who deign to 'govern' us - errr, those who desire to control us and pillage our pocketbooks - Ron Paul included. Look at his voting record - doesn't match his rhetoric - and the excuse of 'well, gotta go along to get along' does NOT hold water with me.
But, back to Brandon Raub - hopefully, we will see some CREDIBLE web sites start carrying information from CREDIBLE and VERIFYABLY CREDIBLE sources. Some of the more serious conservative sights - and sources other than 'his mother' and 'his brother' - whom we really know JS about - would sure be welcome.
It APPEARS that the guy was arrested for threats made APART FROM HIS FACEBOOK posts - threats that have NOT been made public, nor verified by CREDIBLE sources.
If that is the case - stand down the black helicopter alert.
