A Sociopath cares ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about other people - the very definition of 'narcissism'. A true sociopath, however, can hide their self-centeredness quite effectively - and many can function well in society (without being caught) because they are pretty damned 'intelligent' at being sociopaths - excellent lying skills is one hallmark of a true sociopath.
