Good point, lol!

You remind me of my childhood trips to Stern's Pickle Works, Farmingdale, LI. It's no longer there, but it was a truely wonderful trip, like going to the Farmer's Market, only different. Those pickle barrels were huge. Either that or I was small. :o)

I can't stand the Supermarket stuff. I have never found one I like. We get the world's best potato salad and cole slaw from Zan's. I should ask them about pickles, as theirs are pretty good.

Linda! You live in the deli capital of the universe!!!!!

Buying pickles in a supermarket is sacrilege. The only place to buy real pickles is where they sell 'em out of the barrel.
