Why doesn't she burn herself? I know, that was bad. An eye for an eye, lol. Revenge of the books.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Alice Walker bans English version of her book

Following her recent diktat and protest against the imaginary Israeli apartheid, that no new Hebrew translation of her book be allowed, author Alice Walker has demanded that all copies of her book The Color Purple in American homes, schools and libraries, be immediately confiscated and burned.

"American imperialism throughout the world is responsible for the abject oppressed condition of Arabs, Muslims, Africans and Latinos", declared Walker.

"Poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and social inequality in the middle east, Africa, Latin America and elsewhere are the products of the United States of America and its global hegemony. In turn these lead to restive populations, protests and ultimately
to terrorist acts by desperate men who have no alternative but to turn to acts of violence", said Walker.

"Therefore I am officially demanding that all copies of my book The Color Purple be returned to me so that I can publicly burn them as manifestation of my disapproval of and witness to this country's horrendous foreign policies", said Walker.

On being asked by a journalist about the copies of her book already published in Hebrew in Israel in 1984, and about translations into Arabic, the language used by the genocidal Sudan regime, the totalitarian regime of Somalia, Mauritania, center of modern day slavery, and Korean, the language of the fascist North Korean regime, she said: "Let me get back to you on that one".
