Faster and More Furious
by Paul Gable
The American people have a growing sense of the right timing for the removal of the Obama administration—faster—and a reaction to their growing realization of just what this administration is all about—more furious.
It can never be stated too often: “Fast and Furious” was a program purposely designed by the leaders of the radical left—which most assuredly includes Barack Obama and Eric Holder—to undermine Americans’ Constitutional right to bear arms. The program put American-made guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels with the expectation and desire that they would be used to commit crimes against Americans and others, with the intent by the Obama administration to ride the resulting media narrative about border-related crime occurring with American-sourced weapons into outright bans on certain weapons and tighter gun control laws generally.
Let’s boil it down further: “Fast and Furious” was an ‘under the radar’ (Obama’s words) executive branch program intended to facilitate murder and other violence against Mexicans and Americans in order to serve the end of curtailing American gun ownership rights.
Let’s get even clearer: the President and the Attorney General of the United States implemented a plan that unquestionably and purposefully enabled crime and violence by Mexican drug cartels against whoever might get in their way—and the victims be damned so long as the political objective of curtailing the Second Amendment right to bear arms was achieved.
This is breathtaking criminality and evil at the highest levels of government. It is not just grounds for impeachment and removal from office; it is grounds for jail time for each and every person involved in the program’s design, execution and approval. Watergate and Iran-contra are child’s play compared to this willful sabotage of the Constitution by elected officials sworn to protect and defend it.
We think the truth of this scandal cannot and will not be suppressed. We think the truth of this scandal is more powerful than the Beltway elites can comprehend. We think the parlor game speculation about whether executive privilege claims can successfully stall truth’s ‘outing’ power is irrelevant; we think Nancy Pelosi’s explanation of the contempt proceedings against Eric Holder as retaliation for his valiant efforts to protect voting rights by shutting down photo-ID requirements is at the asylum level of moral idiocy. [Eric Holder has TWICE formally recanted testimony he gave to Congress. Among normal people, this is known as admitting to lying--to which there ought to be one response: contempt.] And we think the Pravda media’s willful refusal to cover the scandal will only hasten their final and complete financial collapse by reason of utter moral bankruptcy.
The MSM narrative would have its viewers/readers believe that not many Americans know or care about Fast and Furious. And we should believe that because the same MSM presents a poll that says so? Sorry, we just don’t buy anything the MSM is peddling anymore.
There is a world of alternative media operating at full throttle; there is a world of social media and other interconnectedness that gives voice to the truth. And most of all, there is a power to truth itself that cannot be contained by all of George Soros’ money or altered by the entire machinery of the Democrat/media complex. The American people know about Fast and Furious, and they are rightfully livid about it.
America’s two top officials of the executive branch of government knowingly enabled violent criminal activity as part of a deliberate effort to undermine the Constitution of the United States of America. Nothing is more offensive to the ideas of righteous government and personal and institutional integrity. These people have no place in American government, not now, not ever. Period.
