When I first saw "free speech is under attack," I thought it was going to be about the OIC's global assault on free speech. Nope, this is a shocking attack on Free Speech -- bloggers -- by the Left.

As Nice Deb points out, today ... in protest of the abuse of the court system by convicted bomber Brett Kimberlin, and in a call for action ... many conservative bloggers are going dark. Free speech is under attack, and right now, there are enemies of freedom that are winning, although finally some media coverage, congressional attention, and legal assistance has come in recent days, but much more has to be done.
Readers should take the time to check out Michelle Malkin's blog for a a thorough rundown of Kimberlin and his cabal's offenses against bloggers -- offenses that have escalated in recent days -- which include SWATting, making threatening phone calls to their places of employment, spreading false rumors about them on the internet, publishing their personal information online, including pictures of where they live -- forcing bloggers into court on false charges, etc. Michelle also has an extensive list of contact information for elected officials who need to hear from you:
Hyscience fully supports its fellow conservative bloggers in their effort to call attention to the severe threat to free speech that the abuse of the court system by convicted bomber Brett Kimberlin and his supporters constitute.
However, simply as a matter of principle, Hyscience will not be going dark today because this blog refuses to be intimidated or in any way provide the Brett Kimberlins of this world a single iota of what they might, in their evil, demented little minds, see as an accomplishment of shutting down free speech.
