Well, at least a good majority of them did. There are always a lot of sheeple to be sheared - so the left doesn't mind 'taking' a 'temporary setback' or two in stride. They know that ultimately they can weasel and steal from the majority - because it is HARD for people to stay stirred up and angry ... until things are too damn bad to do f'ing all about them.
