Got a very interesting 'notice' from a friend who uses Facebook. I don't think he'll mind if I share it here:

Had to do a bit of research to find that UCC 1-103, 1-308 (and 1-207) have to do with protecting one's rights. Rights not explicitly 'reserved' can be waived.
