...yep, but they are worn out before they pay for themselves and the nuke facilities aren't.

...I don't advocate nukes kiddo, it's just that I can see the writing on the wall.

ribit, well, mature wind farms are already coming in cheaper than nuclear and fossil fuels. Solar's more expensive. But what I was thinking of is gas and oil, which are both cheaper than nuclear. And, we haven't seen anything yet on Fukushima.

And,

Why haven't the Japanese been able to put a coolant system in place IN A YEAR on that spent fuel pool that doesn't involve pouring millions of gallons of highly radioactive waste water into the Pacific. Already, radioactive plankton, the bottom of the ocean food supply, were found 600 km from their ground zero.

Nope, you can't sell me on nuclear. All you nuclear advocates are truely insane. There is no loss that isn't too low.
