Dangerous? Absolutely.

In 1773 the King's law was enforced quite brutally; had the original 'tea partiers' been caught, they likely would have been hanged.

The Tea Party occurred three years after the Boston Massacre. British troops, occupying Boston to enforce the Townshend (tax) Acts had been stationed since 1768. Stranger than fiction, the British 50-gun flagship moored in Boston Harbour was the HMS Romney.

Liberty or Death, micro.

Yes they were Due.
However, they were disguised and there was no local law enforcement to speak of not Federal Government with unlimited resources of the IRS to track them down and put them on trial.

That was an act of rebellion and no, I do not think it is right to have done, but again, hindsight is always perfect.

We have federal laws today in place and so it is a dangerous thing she is proposing.

JMO,
