Good stuff there DUE!
I have taught on the FEAR of God several times to the Church as a whole and to individual classes and believe me, this requires going to both the the Old Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek with a Lexicon in hand and Zhodiates dictionary in the other. Ha!!!!!
But the first link basically had the general concept. Fear is a reverential AWE that many people have simply no clue about or if they ever had that, they have put it on the back burner.
One day, they will realize there was a reason they should have had it and should have subjected themselves UNDER it.
As the Scriptures clearly state "Be not deceived, God is not mocked"....
Did you know that in the Minor Prophets God refers to Israel as His WIFE? That is a pretty strong and close relationship is it not?
He will never forsake his betrothed and will protect them as HE promised. See Isaiah from chapters 58 to the end. Zechariah is another good place to view that as is Revelation chapters 20, 21,22.
While Ann is an anti- big brother zealot, she does err according to scripture and wants people to violate the LAW and if they don;t according to her they are just not people of faith.
I like her but not when it comes to Biblical theology and understanding the relationship between Christians and Governments. We are to pray for those who are in authority over us that we might live peaceably.
It does not say we have to like those people in authority, but we are told to pray for them, always keeping in mind that He who sets up the leadership of government also removes it.
Thanks for the interesting links!
